AWP: Folle, bello, armonioso, divertente serio
CV: Che aspetto della tua personalità ti è più utile nel tuo lavoro?
AWP: la pazienza
CV:Qual'e il tuo pezzo in ceramica preferito?
AWP: domanda difficile, come che canzone o cibo preferisci: è sempre una cosa nuova. Al momento sono le sculture di Merete Rasmussen su Ceramic Vision.
CV: Da cosa trai ispirazione?
AWP: Dall'interno, da ciò che mi circonda, ( nessun luogo o media in particolare, qualsiasi cosa può essere una fonte di ispirazione) e dall'argilla, quando comincio una scultura vedo le possibilità nella massa di argilla (ohhh quella crepa lo fa sembrare un uomo divertente, fammi provare...)
CV: Se potessi scegliere dove vivere/lavorare nel mondo, dove andresti?
AWP: Siccome sono danese mi verrebbe da dire qualche posto caldo (magari l'America del Sud), un luogo vicino alla natura, ma sono soddisfatto di vivere e lavorare a Copenhagen.
CV: Il tuo miglior e peggior momento ceramico
AWP: La cottura riuscita del busto di una grassa signora. Era l'ultima di una serie di tre e una prova della mia abilità. Il peggior momento: da ragazzo avevo fatto un testa "diabolica" penetrata da dentro da una mano,
orrendo.
"I like to create small new worlds. The greatest gift is the imagination
and I am so curious to see were it leads. Basically I wish to twist the
reality. How far can i take it. I'm always going towards more strange,
more beauty, more ugliness. I feel like an explorer. The places I like
to explore are places with strange people, animals, and abstract forms.
There is always a new place even stranger and that is so wonderful."

CV: Five words that describe your work
AWP: Crazy, beautiful, harmonious, funny, serious.
CV: What aspect of your personality is more useful in your practice?
AWP: Patience
CV: What is your favourite ceramic piece of all times ?
AWP: Difficult question. Just like the question what song or food do you
like best: It’s a new thing every day. So at the moment it is: Merete Rasmussens sculptures featured on your website.
CV: Where do you get your inspiration from?
AWP:From within, from my surroundings (not any particular place or media,
anything can hold a seed of inspiration) and from the clay itself, when I
start a sculpture I see possibilities in the lumps of clay (ohhh! - this crack makes this look like a hilarious man, let me try that)
CV: If you could choose where to live/work in the world, where would you go?
AWP: Since I’m from Denmark I would tend to say some place warm (maybe South
America), some place near the nature, but I am very contend to live and
work in Copenhagen.
CV: Your best and worst ceramic moment
AWP:Best moment: The successful firing of the fat lady bust. She was the
finale of 3 large busts and a kind of test to my abilities. Worst
moment: As a teenager I made a “evil” work of a head being penetrated from within by a hand - hideous.
